ThinkPencil Website Mail connects our business Gmail account to ThinkPencilPlanners.com so our website can send operational email, including sample-download alerts to the owner and website support notifications. It is administered by ThinkPencil. Visitors do not need to connect a Google account or sign up for email to download a free sample.

Privacy notice
Last updated: September 12, 2026. This notice describes the ThinkPencil Website Mail integration.
Google account access
An authorized ThinkPencil administrator connects the business sender account using Google’s authorization screen. The integration requests Gmail’s send-email permission (gmail.send). This permission allows sending messages; it does not grant permission to read the inbox, search existing mail, access Google Drive or Calendar, or delete messages. The integration does not request access to visitors’ Google accounts or handwritten planner notes.
Information used and its purpose
The integration uses the authorized sender account, authorization credentials, recipient addresses, message contents and delivery results to send and troubleshoot website email. Owner sample alerts contain the time of a sample download response and a link to the private activity report. Those alerts do not contain a visitor’s name, email address, IP address or planner file. Website support notifications may contain information a person submits through the contact form.
Storage and service providers
WordPress uses FluentSMTP to connect to Gmail, including FluentSMTP’s authorization redirect service. Google processes messages for delivery, and WP Engine hosts our WordPress site. Information is passed to these services as needed to operate the connection. FluentSMTP stores the client secret and access-token data encrypted using the site’s WordPress keys. Delivery logs may be retained in WordPress, and sent messages may remain in the business Gmail account. Authorized administrators can access the mail settings and relevant records.
Use, retention and control
We use information from this Gmail connection to provide and support website email. We do not sell Google user data, use it to target advertising, or use it to train AI models. ThinkPencil Website Mail’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Authorization data is retained while the connection is configured. The account owner can revoke access in Google Account settings; an administrator can disconnect the mailer and remove its saved settings. Revoking access does not automatically erase previously sent mail, delivery logs or backups. Contact us to request review or deletion of information related to this integration; records needed for security, troubleshooting or legal obligations may need to be retained.
