My planner links are not opening.

Tap planner links with your finger. To navigate with Apple Pencil, switch Goodnotes to preview mode. The included guide shows the preview and writing icons.

Is choosing my planner layout a one-time setup?

Treat layout selection as a one-time setup for each planner, before you start writing. Try the free one-month sample to choose the options that suit you. Changing your options later creates a new, blank PDF; your handwriting stays in the original planner and does not transfer automatically. If you copy handwriting into a different layout, it may no longer line up with the dates, time slots, or writing areas.

How do I add a notes page?

Open Add More Writing Space in your planner. Choose a template, then follow the included instructions to copy and paste the page in your writing app.

Is Notability supported yet?

A Notability edition is planned. It needs its own setup guide and Calendar Connection tests before it is listed as supported.

Where can I get purchase help?

For help with an Etsy purchase, contact ThinkPencil through that order on Etsy. Include your order number and a short description of the problem. If your purchase code is missing or does not work, mention that in your message. Your Etsy order number is not your purchase code.

The ChatGPT button and its setup instructions have been removed from new portrait and landscape planners.
Calendar Connection and Reminders remain available, including the Apple or Google Calendar setup choice.

Choose Portrait or Landscape in Layout & time for both free samples and full planners.
Landscape has seven-column weeks, wider daily pages, compact month navigation and fitted covers.
Landscape page fit is estimated with room for Goodnotes toolbars. Try a free sample on your iPad to check the writing space and navigation.

September 10, 2026 — earlier changes

ChatGPT was added above Home for typed general questions, then removed in revision 2026.09.11.3.
Choose Apple Calendar or Google Calendar during setup and install the matching Calendar Connection shortcut. Add Event still offers all connected calendars; reminders use Apple Reminders.
Five cover colors and the 50% page scale for Goodnotes handwriting.

Calendar Connection is not two-way sync. Saved events and reminders do not appear automatically on planner pages.

Which revision do I have?

Look at the bottom of the last Blank Notes page. The revision identifies the included edits; the Generated timestamp tells you when that particular file was created. Older planners show only a Build timestamp, so contact us if you need help identifying one.

Getting a newer revision

Make a fresh sample, or use your existing purchase access to generate a new full planner. Keep your written-in planner: each download is a fresh, blank file, and your handwriting does not transfer automatically.
