Is this an app?

ThinkPencil is a linked PDF planner that you import into a compatible note-taking app. The writing app and iPad are separate purchases.

Which writing apps does it support?

This edition is designed for Goodnotes on iPad in portrait or landscape. Landscape fit is estimated; try the free sample on your iPad. A Notability edition is planned; other writing apps are not yet supported.

Does it sync my handwriting to a calendar?

No. The optional Calendar Connection uses Apple Shortcuts to open Calendar and create events or reminders. Handwritten notes stay in your planner.
